The Adventures of Isla and Navy follows two spirited young sisters as they discover the world through family travel. From snowy mountain escapes to sun-soaked afternoons by the ocean and magical days in Orlando, every story brings a destination to life through a child's eyes.
Inspired by real experiences, the series captures the little moments that become lifelong memories: a favorite treat, a new discovery, a beloved stuffed animal, and the excitement of exploring somewhere new together.

Written by Alex Rizk Keane and illustrated by Lizzie Gray, The Adventures of Isla and Navy grew from the joy of watching two young sisters experience the world with curiosity, energy, and imagination.
Author
Alex Rizk Keane
Alexandra Rizk Keane, better known as Alex, is the author of the children’s book series The Adventures of Isla and Navy, as well as a producer, writer, and editor. She is the founder of Rizk Pictures, an independent production company launched in 2016.
Alex is a producer of the feature film Literally, Right Before Aaron, a Rizk Pictures production. Rizk Pictures is a Rizk Ventures company. Prior to founding Rizk Pictures, Alex worked for VH1’s Multiplatform Production and Programming division. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various production companies and media conglomerates, including Viacom, Woodridge Productions, Embassy Row, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. She has also been part of production teams for MTV and MTV2, NBC’s The Blacklist, and Law & Order: SVU.
Alex is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. While attending UNC’s J-School, she specialized in electronic communications and produced news packages and feature stories for the radio station WCHL, the flagship station for UNC Chapel Hill’s radio sports broadcasts and an affiliate of the CBS Radio Network.
Illustrator
Lizzie Gray
Lizzie is the illustrator of The Adventures of Isla and Navy, bringing the series to life with luminous color and a world of tiny details to discover. Born in New Jersey and now living in England with her husband and young daughter, she is also the artist behind Wood Vibes Art, a pyrography business she built over nearly a decade before turning to digital illustration in 2023. Her dreamy, playful style is shaped by a love of light, nature, and adventure. Her greatest joy is creating pages that spark magic and wonder, the kind children can get lost in again and again.
